Q. How can I purchase a handSteady?
handSteady can be purchased online using a Visa, MasterCard. American Express or PayPal. Your transaction will appear as “HandSteady Limited” on your credit card statement. If you are having trouble, please email email@example.com.
Q. Can I buy a handSteady if I live outside the United Kingdom?
Yes, handSteady can ship to anywhere in the world. Please be aware that shipping charges do not include international taxes or duties (if ordering outside of Europe). If applicable at time of delivery, these charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Please see below regarding international taxes/duty.
Q. What if I decide that my handSteady is not for me?
handSteady comes with a 30 day 100% money-back guarantee, less shipping and handling charges. Simply send it back with a note including your order number and contact details.
Q. How can I clean my handSteady?
handSteady is dishwasher safe. You can also hand wash it and sterilise it in an autoclave machine if you thoroughly rinse it before sterilising it and limit the cycle to 20 minutes at 120 degrees centigrade.
Q. What are the dimensions of handSteady?
handSteady has a capacity for 250ml (8oz) which makes it an ideal size for one cup kettles. It's designed to be of a similar size to other cups and is 11cm high, 7cm wide.
Q. Is handSteady available in other colours?
handSteady is currently only available in white. We've matched the colour to be similar to bone-china white. Keep checking back with our website and get on our list by registering to see the free video demonstrations to see if any new colour options are available.
Q. Who makes handSteady?
handSteady is manufactured by HandSteady Ltd. HandSteady Ltd is a privately held product innovation company. We have production partners who make, test and hand finish the various parts to handSteady to meet ISO9001 quality standards. Our products are made in Britain to meet ISO9001 quality standards. We process your orders from our base in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England.
Q. How does handSteady get shipped?
All handSteady orders ship from our Kenilworth warehouse in England. We pack your orders within card boxes and use crunched up paper to protect it. We offer a fast and free worldwide shipping service, where we use First Class Royal Mail (and Priority Airmail for long-distance orders). Duty and/or taxes may be applicable at the time of delivery and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Q. How long will it to take to receive my handSteady?
Normally we process your order within 1 working day (Mon-Fri) and if you order before 12-noon GMT we aim to ship your order the same working day. We use First Class Royal Mail and Priority Airmail, so if you're in the UK delivery can take between 1 and 4 working days. If in Europe, between 3 and 7 Working Days and for the rest of the world, between 7 and 10 working days.
Q. Where do I enter my coupon code?
Occasionally we offer coupons for special discounts. To be notified of special discounts please register for the free video series to get on our mailing list. Coupon codes are entered at the checkout. In your shopping cart there will be a box to enter your coupon code. Click the APPLY button and you’re done.
Q. Can I drink hot drinks in handSteady?
Yes, handSteady can be used for hot drinks such as teas and coffees, as well as cold drinks such as ice cold coke, juice or water. It is made from FDA Approved food safe materials.
Q. What inspired you to create handSteady?
Inventor Chris Peacock was inspired to create handSteady because a close family member of his has a long-term health condition that makes drinking with standard cups difficult. As an inventor he knew he had to find an answer.
Q. Do you have any bulk order discounts?

Q. Are there any duty/taxes on international orders?
Please be aware that our free worldwide shipping service does not include international taxes or duties. Contact the customs office in the destination country for information about any applicable duties or taxes before ordering. (We have no control over duty charges, and whilst you may not incur any duty charges, it's important you know that you may need to).
Q. I am having problems placing my order, what should I do?
We apologize if you experience any issues when trying to place your order. Typically any issues arising tend to be browser related. If you’re having issues, try quitting your browser and restarting it (clear the ‘cookies’ as well before trying to place your order again – usually found under the preferences tab in your web browser). You can also try placing your order on a different browser (i.e.@ Safari, Explorer, Firefox) but if the problem persists, contact our customer service department on email@example.com and we will help process your order manually.
Q. Can I send handSteady as a gift to a friend?
Yes, absolutely. To do this you need to pay by MasterCard, Visa or American Express using the main check out. If you use PayPal your order will be delivered to your billing address as PayPal forces this to happen for security purposes. Even if you put the shipping address as a friend's address on the main check out page, if you then pay by PayPal it will be delivered to your billing address on the PayPal records. So for sending handSteady to a friend use Visa, MasterCard or American Express at the main checkout.
Q. I ordered handSteady but it hasn't arrived yet. Where is it?
Q. How do I return a handSteady if it's not for me?
Easy. Just send handSteady in the post to HandSteady Ltd, Unit 3, Princes Drive Industrial Estate, Kenilworth CV8 2FD. Please include a note to say your name, order number, email address and if you want add some feedback then please do. Note, if you don't include a note then we won't know who's returned the product and won't be able to process your refund. We'll process refunds normally within a few days of receiving and checking your returns. Please ensure you return handSteady to us within 30 days from the time of ordering to ensure you remain eligible for a refund.
Q. What does the 12 month warranty include?
HandSteady Ltd warrants all products sold on the www.handsteady.com web site (other than noted exceptions) to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of your order. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence, or abuse. HandSteady will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any items found defective upon examination of the claim by the handsteady.com website customer service department. To get our customer services team to look at your handSteady, please send handSteady in the post to HandSteady Ltd, Unit 3, Princes Drive Industrial Estate, Kenilworth CV8 2FD. The warranty is with the purchaser of the product rather than the recipient. So the purchaser of the product needs to send the product to us and include a note to say your name, order number, email address and add a note for the reason you're returning handSteady.
